instagrid as one of the finalists for ees AWARD 2020

We are extremely proud to announce that instagrid was chosen as one of the 10 finalists for ees International AWARD 2020. The companies nominated for the yearly ees AWARD are the current reflection of most innovative technologies in the field of battery and energy storage systems. Numerous companies from these sectors applied for the award in 2020, and a total of ten companies, including instagrid, were among the finalists.

As a young company that was only founded in 2018 it is a great honor to be nominated among some of the largest players in energy storage and a proof that we are on a good path in becoming a relevant player in the energy sector. Being nominated for an award by the largest fair on batteries and energy storage in Europe is also a great opportunity to receive recognition across and beyond the community.

The ees AWARD 2020 ceremony took place on 30th of June via an online seminar with finalists located around Europe and Asia-Pacific. instagrid placed among the top ten finalists, competing against ads-tec Energy GmbH, BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH, BYD Company Limited, Fenecon GmbH, LG Chem Ltd., Pylon Technologies Co. Ltd., volytica diagnostics GmbH, Webasto SE, ZnR Batteries SAS.

“It’s a great feeling to have successfully proved ourselves against strong competitors from around the world. It’s fantastic to rank in the top 10 in an award nomination such as the ees AWARD. This confirms, once again that we are on the right track and developing a product that obviously not only hits the pulse of time, but also the needs of our target industries,” says Andreas Sedlmayr, co-founder and CEO of instagrid.
