Mobile Power for Critical Operations: Instagrid Presents GO RESQ and GO MIL for Mission-Critical Scenarios

When every second counts, first responders need absolute reliability. With Instagrid GO RESQ, Instagrid is presenting a mobile, weatherproof and emission-free power supply at eRIC in Twenthe, the Netherlands – developed specifically for the demanding requirements of emergency services such as fire brigades, rescue services and civil protection organisations.

The one-handed portable unit delivers 3.6 kW continuous power and up to 18 kW peak power – at just 21 kg. With IP65 certification, Instagrid GO RESQ withstands dust, water and the toughest conditions, ready to deploy wherever conventional generators quickly reach their limits.

Instagrid GO RESQ is the biggest innovation for the fire service in the last five years,” says Joachim Pech, Deputy Head of Technology at Karlsruhe Fire Brigade.

The German Red Cross and Malteser relief organisation are already deploying the system – for submersible pumps, high-performance fans, cut-off saws and LED light masts on site.

Instagrid GO RESQ at a glance:

  • Portable and robust: one-handed transport, built for the most demanding operational conditions

  • Ready in no time: fully charged in under 2 hours, intuitive operation with no cable clutter

  • Clean and quiet: zero-emission operation with no noise at the scene

With the RESQ product line, Instagrid underscores its role as an innovative driver of smart and reliable mobile power supply. The system gives emergency organisations the comfort and dependability of mains power in the toughest operational environments – completely independent of location and infrastructure.

Instagrid is also presenting its expanded portfolio for mission-critical applications in an international context at eRIC: with Instagrid GO MIL, the company introduces a tactical energy solution developed specifically for military and security-sensitive deployment scenarios. The system enables independent power supply without existing infrastructure, and its emission-free, silent operation combined with the elimination of fuel significantly reduces logistical complexity in the field. Thanks to its compact design, high robustness and immediate readiness, GO MIL supports a broad range of applications – from communications and medical care to reconnaissance, sensors and drone operations.

The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) have selected Instagrid GO MIL as part of their new generation of hybridised tactical energy systems. In the 2 kW power class, GO MIL – together with the switching solution Instagrid LINK MIL and the transport solution Zarges TuLB – forms a central component of the so-called “Satz 2 kW”. The system replaces conventional combustion technologies with a modern tactical energy architecture that increases resilience, reduces fuel consumption and simplifies logistical processes.

Instagrid GO MIL at a glance:

  • Silent and emission-free: ideal for sensitive operational environments and covert operations

  • Fuel-independent: reduces logistical dependencies and extends operational duration

  • Robust and mobile: compact, one-handed portable and designed for extreme conditions
