Instagrid GO MIL - Silent Portable Power for Tactical Operations

Instagrid GO MIL on show at UK military event following widespread adoption by Germany's Federal Defence Force (Bundeswehr)

Tactical power demands have changed.

Today's military units depend on an expanding stack of electronic systems - communications, sensors, surveillance, command infrastructure - all must stay continuously operational in the field .

Power is no longer a support function, it’s a tactical requirement, and fuel-powered generators, with their acoustic and thermal signatures, their logistical tail, and their dependence on resupply, are increasingly a liability.

Instagrid GO MIL was built to address that gap directly.

Silent, portable, and built for the field

GO MIL is a portable power supply designed for defence and field deployment. It combines single-operator portability with plug-and-play simplicity, delivering clean, grid-quality power wherever mobility, reliability, and low signature are mission-critical.

Operationally, GO MIL supports a broad range of tactical applications:

  • Communications and sensor systems in the field - including mobile command kits and SATCOM

  • Emergency power for lighting, pumps, and mission infrastructure

  • Drone charging for ISR and mission support

  • Repair and maintenance operations including welding and field manufacturing

  • Counter-UAS systems and electronic warfare payloads

  • Power field medical equipment

Designed to operate in harsh environments, GO MIL carries IP65 protection against dust and jet water, operates across a temperature range of -32 degrees C to +60 degrees C, and is built for reduced acoustic and thermal detectability.

Real world adoption: GO MIL integrated into the 2 kW tactical power system by Germany’s Bundeswehr

Germany's Federal Defence Force, the Bundeswehr is amongst national military organisations selecting Instagrid GO MIL as a key component of its new generation of hybridised tactical energy systems.

GO MIL operates alongside the MIL LINK, an optional add-on that allows users to combine up to three Instagrid units to increase power capacity and hot-swap, perfect for charging and continuous power.

The system is replacing traditional combustion engines with a tactical energy supply that reduces fuel dependency, improves resilience, and simplifies logistics.

"This new generation of tactical energy systems shows the possibilities when the right technologies, companies and people come together. With GO MIL we are introducing market-ready energy solutions that deliver clear technical, logistical and tactical advantages." - Volker Schreieck, Bundeswehr Procurement Project Lead

"Instagrid started by delivering portable, clean power to construction professionals. Over time, we saw a strong demand from military users and emergency services. With GO MIL, we translated real operational feedback into a mission-ready system built for tactical operations -- designed for extreme environments, rapid deployment and low detectability across thermal, visual and acoustic signatures." - Andreas Sedlmayr, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Instagrid

NATO Stock Number assigned

Instagrid GO MIL has been assigned a NATO Stock Number (NSN), simplifying procurement and logistics for NATO member states and partner nations.
