We are extremely proud to announce that instagrid has won the Start Up Energy Transition Award 2020 in the Renewable Energies and Materials -category.
Start Up Energy Transition (SET) is a global innovation platform supporting innovation in the energy transition. SET is implemented with the conviction that a sustainable future is directly linked to innovative business models and political will. The SET Award is presented in five different categories, which cover the entire clean energy spectrum. This year, the SET week took place online on 19th-22nd of October, and culminated in the final award ceremony on the 22nd of October, on World Energy Day.
We prevailed among 15 other finalists from all over the world, and are very honored to be one of the winners. The winners in other categories were SwitchDin (digital energy systems), Enerbrain (energy efficiency solutions), EcoG (smart mobility), and Liter of Light (quality access & SDG7).
The SET challenged the start-ups to showcase solutions for harnessing the use of renewables and steering away from carbon reliant energy. We presented a solution, instagrid portable power system, that has the potential to empower and enable citizens globally to utilize renewable energy and to provide easy access to energy in off-grid locations.
