On Friday, November 1, 2019 we were invited to participate in an a demo-day organised by the municipality of Amsterdam in co-operation with the local construction companies. The event was a ‘Smart and Clean working’ learning studio, where suppliers, industry associations, research institutions, the municipality and clients engaged in a dialogue to tackle the energy transition in the construction infrastructure together. As the outcome of the discussions, the participants stated that the CO2 reductions for the construction sector in Amsterdam are within reach and the energy transition within the infrastructure can be tackled with the joined efforts.
During this meeting, demonstrations of clean equipment were given by various suppliers. We presented our instagrid Life project for Cleaner Air in the cities and gained valuable insights and contacts for the upcoming pilot tests.
